Where is my heart?

June 20th, 2006 by warungbuncit

Waktu kamu ada

Aku tak merasa

kamu sesungguhnya

Ada di dada

Waktu kamu pergi

Tiba tiba sunyi

Tiba-tiba sepi

Hatiku ini

Kamu

Kok pergi tanpa kabar

Bikin hatiku bubar

Dunia yang hingar bingar

Sepi sperti dalam hangar

Duh duh aduh

Kenapa tuh

Dulu ga butuh

Kini ga utuh

Saat makan ayam bakar

Semuanya jadi hambar

Saat mau pergi ke pasar

Tau tau ada di bar

Duh duh aduh

Kenapa tuh

Dulu ga butuh

Kini ga utuh

Engkau buat aku cacat

Aku jadi sakit berat

Gara gara kamu minggat

Kembali donk

Kesini donk

Kabarin donk

Please …. maapin donk!

men are like wine — so says alia.

May 12th, 2006 by warungbuncit

men are like wines

at least, that’s what alia says

and sometimes

you don’t have to believe

whatever she says.

men ARE like wines

I say

well if you treat them right

and you treat them with your heart

men are

like that

they could be sweet

they could give you warmth

they could intoxicate you

they could

take you to the heaven

of your own design

– and

they’ll mellow with age

so you don’t have to worry

about expiring date

but then again

grapes make the wine

and they’ll be different

from kind to kind

from type to type

from treatment to treatment

there’ll be lot of labours

before you could find the wine

thousands of days, thousands of hours

have to be spent

before you could understand

and the wine understands too

you.

to say that

men mellow with age

is not really correct

to say that

boys are not men yet

is a fact too simplified

you could find

your choicest wine

in everyone you cross path with

you could enjoy

a happily ever after story

in every smile you encounter with

it is in your own heart

the grape of that wine

should grow it’s vines

nurtured

matured

and showered

and treated

with a love

not the best wine that men can make

match

two hearts are needed

to create a love

as intoxicating

as dionysus’ best

and i love you,

alia.

kota kecil

kota kecil di pinggir kali

kecil sekali

ku di sana sekali

jalan jalan sunyi sekali

sepi sekali

mobil jarang sekali

setasiun pun sangat lengang

kereta datang

skali skali

kalau sore langitnya rame

ribuan burung putih

pulang sarang

kota kecil kini tiada

jadi waduk besar

besar besar sekali

yang

yang

telah panjang

jalanan

yang kita tempuh

berdua

bergandeng tangan

menghadapi

badai taufan

tawa ceria

kita gelak bersama

duka nestapa

kita nangis berdua

dan silang selisih

bagai pupuk kasih

bersykurlah

padaNYA

jambul

September 27th, 2005 by warungbuncit

jangan kau potong

jambul di rambutmu

nakal tersembul

di balik kerudung kamu

jangan kau potong

karna aku suka

walau orang bilang

itu tidak biasa

di kantormu canggih

ada sajadah kamu

dan kau sujud khusyuk

di antara komputer

saat al fatihah

kau sebut dengan lembut

engkau lebih merdu

dari mantra si anggun

bahasa inggrismu

bikin ku terpesona

bahasa quranmu

bikin aku terpana

di kantormu canggih

ada sajadah kamu

dan kau sujud khusyuk

di antara komputer

saat al fatihah

kau sebut dengan lembut

engkau lebih merdu

dari mantra si anggun

jangan kau potong

jambul di rambutmu

nakal tersembul

di balik kerudung kamu

jangan kau potong

karna aku suka

kau jambul indah

semua wanita

JIKA KAU TANYA AKU

September 26th, 2005 by warungbuncit

jika kau tanya aku

sampai kapan cintaku

raba saja dadaku

raba juga hidungku

jika masih berdetak

cintaku belum retak

jika masih bernapas

cintaku belum lepas

jika kau tanya aku

kenapa ku cintamu

ambil saja cerminmu

pandang saja wajahmu

aku cinta padamu

karna kau adalah kau

aku cinta padamu

karna kau sperti itu

jika aku lihat kamu

rasa damai di hatiku

jika kamu lihat aku

rasa bangga di hatiku

jika kau tanya aku

sampai kapan cintaku

raba saja dadaku

raba juga hidungku

jika masih berdetak

cintaku belum retak

jika masih bernapas

cintaku belum lepas

The Peanuta Philosophy

April 12th, 2005 by warungbuncit

THE "PEANUTS" PHILOSOPHY
by Charles Schultz

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator

of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don’t have to actually answer
the questions. Just read the e-mail straight through and you’ll
get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor
and actress.
6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their
fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are
forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here’s another quiz. See how you do on this one.

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school…..
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult
time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile…..
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and
special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you.

Easier?

The lesson is:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones
with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards.
They are the ones that care.

From Star Wars, DESTINY.

Destiny’s there to be fulfilled

Future’s there to relive the past

And the mistakes you’ve made

Are always gonna be there

To guide you through evil

The purpose of Darth Vader is to forget Anakin.

We awake as children

March 31st, 2005 by warungbuncit

We awake as children at the dawn of our lives
With a gift of love firmly placed in our hearts.
There it must wait through good times and bad
Till another comes near, with love to be had.

Each child grows on an uncertain path.
Each journey twists with uncaring chance.
How lucky the few who come to know
The joy of that gift, wrapped so long ago.

What are the odds in life’s wondrous game
That you and I, to each other, now came?
Each with the gift still to be opened.
Each with a promise as yet unspoken.

For the gift was not ours to be used in our way.
But ours to be cared for and held till the day
When it could be shared without hesitation
And joined with another’s, without reservation.

Alone, we are empty and too soon grow old.
But with you as my love, I can dare to be bold.
Come now, my darling, and unwrap my heart.
One path, forever. One life to start.
